• Work across high-quality residential gardens throughout Brisbane
• Develop your knowledge of plants, pruning, irrigation, lawn care and plant health
• Work across a variety of gardens with different challenges each day
• Learn from experienced landscapers and horticultural professionals
• Develop into a more independent role with greater responsibility over time
• Have your uniform, PPE, tools and equipment provided

Whether you’re already qualified or starting out, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to keep improving. What You’ll Be Doing Your work will include:

• Pruning, hedging and shaping plants
• Garden maintenance and weed control
• Plant health, fertilising and soil improvement
• Lawn mowing, edging, care and renovation
• Inspecting, adjusting and repairing irrigation systems
• Mulching, planting and garden improvements
• Identifying plant health, pest and irrigation issues
• Keeping properties clean, tidy and presentable
• Communicating professionally with clients

Over time, we want you to develop the knowledge to look beyond the task in front of you - understanding what each garden needs and proactively identifying opportunities to improve it. Who We’re Looking For You don’t need to know everything from day one, particularly if you’re applying as an apprentice. Attitude, reliability and a genuine interest in horticulture are important to us.We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in plants, gardens and horticulture
• Takes pride in doing a job properly and pays attention to detail
• Is reliable, motivated and keen to learn
• Can work independently and as part of a small team
• Communicates well and treats clients and their properties with respect
• Holds a current manual driver’s licence
• Has full Australian working rights
• Holds a Construction White Card, or is willing to obtain one

Previous gardening or landscaping experience is an advantage but isn’t essential for the right apprentice.For experienced applicants, a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or equivalent horticultural qualification will be highly regarded.
